The best real estate news I’ve seen all day

I’ve pounded the table for upside in the commercial real estate space for years. The boom came as no surprise. The interests from overseas and from our neighbors north of us came as no surprise either.

Investing in the space has been quite rewarding.

And it’s far from over.

In fact, according to the Dallas News, “the commercial real estate sector can expect three more years of solid growth – one of the longest periods of industry expansion according to a new forecast.”

I’d argue that the boom could last much longer, though.

But according to industry leaders surveyed by the Urban Land Institute, the current boom will continue through 2017 with strong growth in office and apartments.

“Real estate pros predict three more years of smooth sailing for U.S. real estate,” the Urban Land Institute’s William Maher, as quoted by the Dallas News. “The forecast represents almost the perfect combination of strong economic and property market fundamentals, combined with an orderly wind-down of monetary stimulus.”
