Who’s in your Final Four?

Duke moved to the Elite Eight last night with a win over Utah, 63-57. It was a good game to watch even as Utah trailed Duke for much of the second half.

Too bad the refereeing was just as pitiful as the goaltending call during the UCLA-SMU finish. A Duke moving screen, which happens often, and a three second call that was seconds short were my favorite poor calls.

But hey, why should the refs watch?

What’s interesting is that the last second free throw cost Vegas millions. Duke was favored by five-points. The last free throw on a foul pushed Vegas to cover the spread. Insane ending for Vegas…

I’m sure the refs will get a few calls from the fellas in Vegas over it…

Duke meets Gonzaga on Sunday. There’s good talent on both sides, but I’m hoping Duke steamrolls after what Gonzaga did to my Hawkeyes the other day.

Final four will be chosen this weekend with some of the greatest matchups I’ve seen. Undefeated Kentucky faces Notre Dame tonight. Kentucky should pull out the win here. I’d love to see them face Duke in the final game.

Arizona and Wisconsin go head to head tonight in a rematch of last year’s Elite Eight. I think Wisconsin takes it. Louisville and Michigan State battle it out on Sunday. I’m looking for a Louisville win.
